The short version: the typing test runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server, and we don't have any way to identify you.

what stays on your device

• Every keystroke you make during a test.
• The mp4 video you export — encoded locally via the WebCodecs API and saved straight to your downloads folder. Never uploaded.
• Your WPM, accuracy, and timing data.

analytics

None. We don't run any analytics script, set cookies, or fingerprint your device. Server-side request logs (standard nginx access logs — IP, user agent, path, timestamp) are kept for a short window for abuse and reliability monitoring and aren't shared.

third-party assets

If you export an mp4 of your run, your browser downloads the jsDelivr-hosted mp4-muxer JavaScript library at that moment. jsDelivr may log standard request data (IP, user agent). No other third-party assets are loaded.

changes

If this policy ever changes in a way that meaningfully affects you, we'll update the date above. There's no account system, so we can't email you about it.
